TOLEDO -- New details on an investigation into a former worker at a West Toledo funeral home who is accused of fondling a woman's corpse.

Toledo police have arrested 57-year-old Larry Clement and charged him with abuse of a corpse.

Police say he inappropriately touched the body of 51-year-old Brenda Shular-Cameron at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home on Tremainsville.

The woman's family claims the funeral home offered them a free funeral and casket in exchange for not calling police.

But TPD was call in anyways on Sunday and charges were filed Thursday.

The funeral home says Clement who lives in Temperance has been fired.
