MONCLOVA TOWNSHIP -- Highway patrol troopers arrested a wrong-way driver along I-475 late Wednesday night--less than a week after four died in a wrong-way crash on I-75.

Bowling Green dispatch was advised of a vehicle travelling northbound in the southbound lanes around 10:40 p.m. The vehicle entered the median and drove over into the northbound lanes before exiting onto Salisbury Road. A trooper pursued and stopped the Ford Taurus based on witness descriptions.

The driver,  37-year-old Lydia M. Jablonski, was arrested and taken into custody for OVI.

Her driving caused two crashes prior to being stopped. One was a parked car at the establishment she left from and the other was a side swipe as she travelled in the wrong lanes on I-475.

There were no injuries reported from the crashes she caused.

Last Friday, 69-year-old Winifred Lein struck a car full of Bowling Green State University students while she travelled the wrong way on I-475. Lein was killed in the crash, along with three of the students. Two still remain hospitalized and are in critical condition.
