TOLEDO -- An employee at a West Toledo funeral home is being investigated for allegedly fondling a corpse.

Toledo police are not releasing the name of the H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home employee because they have not yet been charged with a crime.

TPD tells WNWO News they were called to the funeral home on Tremainsville after another funeral home worker witnessed the abuse of a woman's corpse.

The worker has reportedly been fired.
