Funeral scheduled for BGSU student killed in crash

BAY SIDE, MICH. -- A funeral is scheduled this week in Michigan for one of the three Bowling Green State University sorority sisters who were killed in a wrong-way car crash along I-75.

Services for 19-year-old Christina Goyett will be held Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church, located at 510 W. Ivy St. in Bay City, Mich.

State troopers say 69-year-old Winifred Lein of Perrysburg was fleeing from officers when she narrowly missed one car full of BGSU students and then crashed into another early Friday.

Lein died at the scene, along with Goyett, 21-year-old Sarah Hammond of Yellow Springs, Ohio and 20-year-old Rebekah Blakkolb of Aurora, Ohio.

The students were on their way to Detroit Metropolitan Airport for a Dominican vacation.
