FREMONT -- Two Sandusky County deputies at the heart of an investigation into sexually oriented misbehavior will tell their story at a pre-disciplinary hearing today.

Charles Pump and Franklin Kaiser are accused of interacting with a woman at the jail as she performed sexual acts on herself.

In the alleged victim's written statement, she states that she's mentally ill and was "off her meds," for at least 19 hours when she was placed in the jail cell in a suicide gown. As she performed sexual acts, at least one deputy reportedly encouraged her to continue and made lewd remarks.

Sandusky County Sheriff Chief Deputy Bruce Hirt confirmed Pump and Kaiser will appear before the Sandusky County Jobs and Family Services director, Cindy Bilby, who will then issue a report to the sheriff. The sheriff willl then decide what disciplinary actions, if any, should be taken.

Deputy Joshua Smith was also placed on paid administrative leave after the January incident.
