TOLEDO -- No turning back now--the city of Toledo knows exactly where to put 11 new red light cameras.

Published reports say the new cameras are planned for seven busy intersections close to Westfield Franklin Park Mall, the Toledo Zoo, Whitmer High School, West Bancroft Street at North Reynolds Road, Heatherdowns Boulevard at South Byrne Road, North Detroit Avenue at Dorr Street and Collingwood Boulevard at Dorr Street.

The city hopes the cameras will help pay for recreation programs that would otherwise shutdown due to budget cuts.

These new red light cameras bring the total to 43 throughout the city.
