MONROE -- Monroe police have arrested the man they say robbed the Bank of America on South Monroe Street Wednesday morning.
Police say 24-year-old homeless man walked into the bank with a Tootsie roll sucker in his mouth, gave the teller a note demanding money and told the worker "don't be stupid".
They say he then took off with more than $2,000.
He was arrested the next day with about half that amount on him.,
So far police have not identified him,.
