Update:

According to the Monroe News, the sheriff's office said it doesn't appear any crime was committed in the reported attempted abduction of a teenage girl in Bedford Township. The 15-year-old girl was walking home from Bedford High School in bad weather when the man pulled over and asked if she wanted a ride.

Sgt. John Plath told the newspaper that the man did not force her to get into the car or grab her. Police released a composite sketch as a precaution for area schools. The investigation is ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Dep. Jeff Pauli (734)-240-7745.

Original report:

Anyone with information is asked to call the Monroe County Sheriff's office at 734-240-7745.
