TOLEDO -- A Waterville Township police officer accused of looking at child pornography on his work computer has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

42-year old David Krego was arraigned Wednesday one count of illegal use of minor in nudity oriented material.

If Krego is convicted of the fifth degree felony he could be sentenced to a year in prison.  He would also have to register as a sex offender.

An indictment claims Krego viewed the picture on a township computer while on duty in December 2010.

After he was booked into jail and this mugshot was taken, Krego was released on his own recognizance.  He's due back in court February 7.
