Arsonist on the loose in Northwest Ohio

PAULDING -- A fire that destroyed a century old hotel in Paulding County has been ruled arson.

The state Fire Marshal's office says a man was seen running from the Barnes Hotel on South Williams street in Paulding when it caught fire Sunday afternoon.

The hotel which has been vacant for several years was destroyed. No one was hurt.

A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the person who sparked the fire.
