After the holidays you may be wondering where to store all of your children's new toys. A local group has the perfect solution for your dilemma.

The Town Center at Levis Commons is holding the third annual "Play It Forward Toy Drive." The center is rescuing and recycling outgrown toys for underprivileged children.

They are collecting gently used, working toys for children in Northwest Ohio who were not as fortunate this holiday season.

Donations can be dropped off in front of the movie theatre at Levis Commons in Perrysburg between 12 P.M.-5 P.M. Friday and Saturday. The toys donated should be in working order, clean, and if possible have fresh batteries installed.

Casey Pogan, the Marketing Director for the group says, "Play it Forward is a simple concept with an extraordinary impact." "When functioning and usable toys are thrown out, they become waste in a landfill, take up a lot of space and do not biodegrade. Adding to this is the fact that many children in our area go without toys which are instrumental in creativity and imagination development."

Last year, the Play It Forward Toy Drive filled three box trucks full of toys.
