FINDLAY -- The lockout at Cooper Tire in Findlay will continue into 2012. This week, union negotiators said they hope to meet again next week with representatives from the company. A federal mediator is likely to sit in.

"Both parties are accusing the other of bad-faith bargaining," National Labor Relations Board attorney Steve Wilson told The Blade. "The union's charge is a bit more expansive. It challenges the lawfulness of the lockout. But in a nutshell, both parties are accusing the other of bad-faith bargaining."

Late last month, Cooper Tire locked out more than 1,000 union members after workers rejected a tentative three-year contract. The company brought in temporary workers to keep the factory operating.
