LUCAS CO. -- A California man is locked up in the Lucas County jail after state troopers found more than a half million dollars of cocaine in his car.

The 36-year-old was pulled over on the Ohio Turnpike in Maumee for speeding Thursday.

Troopers say a probable cause search led them to six kilos of cocaine in a hidden compartment.

The 13 pounds of cocaine is worth $600,000 on the street.,
