We admit it...we're suckers for lists of just about any kind.

But one that seems to be a topic of debate each and every year around this time is the best Christmas movies of all time.

You can find lists from just about anywhere.  (A quick Google search returned results from bloggers to major movie critics).  So we thought we'd pick a couple...and then let you pick it apart.

Moviephone.com blogged up a list of traditional favorites as follows:

10. 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation' (1989)

9. 'Babes in Toyland' (1934)

8. 'Home Alone' (1990)

7. 'Christmas in Connecticut' (1945)

6. 'Elf' (2003)

5. 'White Christmas' (1954)

4. 'Scrooged' (1988)

3. 'Miracle on 34th Street' (1947)

2. 'It's a Wonderful Life' (1946)

1. 'A Christmas Story' (1983)

And for the more "Hipster"/"Avant Garde" crowd...blogger Kristopher Tapley at HitFix.com came up with their list of "Perennial Must Watch Christmas Movies":

10. "A Christmas Story" (Bob Clark, 1983)

9. "Bad Santa" (Terry Zwigoff, 2003)

8. "Love Actually" (Richard Curtis, 2003)

7. "Scrooged" (Richard Donner, 1988)

6. "Home Alone" (Chris Columbus, 1990)

5. "Batman Returns" (Tim Burton, 1992)

4. "Die Hard" (John McTiernan, 1988)

3. "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" (Chris Columbus, 1992)

2. "Gremlins" (Joe Dante, 1984)

1. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation" (Jeremiah S. Chechik, 1989)

What is your top Christmas movie?  Is there one that you simply must see each and every year?
