ADRIAN -- Adrian College has received its largest gift in its history.

The estate of Willard Cornelius, Sr. left $20 million to the Lenawee County college.

Cornelius was an Adrian College board of trustee member from 1931 to 1948.

The college says the money will be used to help students with tuition and to help renovate the science and business buildings on campus.
