NORTHWOOD -- Friday may have been the swan song for the Woodville Mall.

A Wood County judge has issued a temporary restraining order Friday afternoon to close the mall.  The judge's ruling does not affect The Andersons and Sears stores.

The City of Northwood is asking that the mall be permanently closed to the public in a complaint filed Friday.  The complaint says there are several health and safety hazards including large holes in the roof, leaks, a fire alarm system that doesn't work properly and no heat.

The judge has set a December 28 date to decide if the mall will be permanently closed.  WNWO will keep you updated.

Do you think the Woodville Mall should be shutdown permanently?  When's the last time you shopped there?  Post your comments below.
