FINDLAY -- A replacement worker at Cooper Tire in Findlay has been attacked.

But police say there are no indications that the victim, 26-year-old Bobby Sellers, was targeted because he crossed the picket lines.

Investigators say Sellers was attacked in parking lot of the Town Place Suites on Tiffin Avenue Saturday night.

Sellers was beaten with what is believed to be a baseball bat. He's expected to make a full recovery.

This attack comes as Cooper Tire and The United Steelworkers resume negotiations to end a more than 3 week lockout.
