Police ID runaway suspect in Express Carryout robbery

Joseph Hunter, 25, is wanted for robbery. / Lucas County jail

TOLEDO -- Toledo Police identified 25-year-old Joseph R. Hunter as the second suspect involved in the Express Carryout armed robbery that left the other suspect dead.

Police say Hunter entered the store on Mulberry Street with Lamar Allen on Nov. 21 with a weapon. Allen was shot and killed by the store clerk.

Police issued a warrant and charged Hunter with robbery. Published reports reveal he is also wanted on warrants of trespassing, littering and drug possession.

Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 419-255-1111.
