DAYTON -- Payback is a poo that lasts forever. According to a number of published reports on this viral story, an Ohio tattoo artist named Ryan Fitzjerald went ballistic when he found his girlfriend, Rossie Brovent, had been stepping out on him with his best friend.

In retaliation, the jilted lover inked a large pile of poop, complete with stink vapors and circling flies, on his drunken ex's back.

Upon learning of the betrayal, Fitzjerald wooed Brovent with booze before she agreed to get a tattoo. She reportedly wanted a scene from the Narnia trilogy inked on her back, but in her stupor, signed a consent decree giving him "design discretion." 

"He tricked me by drinking a bottle of cheap wine with me and doing tequila shots before I signed it and got the tattoo... Actually I was passed out for most of the time, and woke up to this horrible image on my back." Brovent said in The Sun's article.

The report goes on to say Brovent filed a $100,000 civil lawsuit against Fitzjerald for damages.

However, The Smoking Gun published an article Tuesday crying foul, saying no one at the Montgomery County Common Pleas Court (where Brovent would have filed the complaint) knew anything about the lawsuit. A search of the Nexis database also didn't find "Rossie Brovent" or "Ryan Fitzjerald."

In short, no records on the suit or people involved make this story a little stinky. No word yet on exactly when this happened nor the whereabouts or condition of the "best friend."
