TOLEDO -- Acting on a tip, Toledo Police went to 1723 Ottawa Dr. in north Toledo and arrested Daurrin Patton and charged him with two counts of aggravated murder. Patton was taken into custody at 7:15 p.m. Monday. He is charged with two counts of aggravated murder in connection with the murders Timothy Blair, 14, and Veronica Serrano, 34, both of Toledo.

According to police, Blair and Serrano were standing on the porch of their residence at 1357 Page Street on November 25 at approximately 10:23 PM when someone opened fire on them. Police say Blair died almost immediately. Serrano was transported to an area hospital where she died shortly after arriving.

Patton appeared in Toledo Municipal Court Tuesday morning for arraignment. Judge Francis Gorman set his bond at $1 million. He is incarcerated in the Lucas County Jail.
