AKRON, OHIO -- A man found buried in a shallow grave near an Akron, Ohio shopping mall over the holiday weekend has been identified as that of Timothy Kern of Massillon, Ohio. Kern was last seen on November Thirteenth.
Kerns father said he responded to a help wanted ad on Craigslist in order to better provide for his three children.
The Summit County Medical Examiners office says Kern died of gunshot wounds to the head.
A Norfolk, VA. mans body was found in Noble County, Ohio (Southeastern) after reportedly answering a similar ad on Craigslist, which police now believe could be a robbery scheme.
Another body was found Friday, also in Noble County, and has not been identified.
Police have not said if the three cases are related. Two people are reported to be in custody.
