UNION CITY, TENN. -- Meet Emanuel Kennedy.   Police in Union City, Tennesee say the 37 year old attacked his mother with a large ham during an argument Tuesday afternoon.

According to the police report, Kennedy's mom told police that her son threw the meat at her as she was walking down the hallway at their home following their argument.   The ham struck her in the back but she was not hurt.

Kennedy says he did not intend to hit his mother, 55 year old Brenda King.
