OREGON -- Two area police forces arrested a female suspect and her male accomplice on a charge of bank robbery Tuesday morning at the intersection of Brown Road and Wheeling Street in Oregon.

Heather Beasley, 24, no known address, was booked into the Ottawa County Jail this afternoon and charged with one count of aggravated robbery.

Also arrested was an accomplice. Steven Perales, 45, of Oregon, is also incarcerated in the Ottawa County Jail facing one count of aggravated robbery.

According to an Oregon Police dispatcher, the suspect entered Genoa Savings Bank in Millbury, Ohio just before 10 a.m. and demanded money from the teller. Northwood Police also assisted with the arrest, which occured about 30 minutes after the suspect fled from the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A similar robbery attempt occurred early Tuesday morning at the Charter One Branch on Main St. in east Toledo.
