TOLEDO -- The 32-year-old fire inspector arrested for shooting into Toledo fire stations was indicted Monday, the same day a disciplinary report was disclosed detailing multiple instances of misconduct while on the job.

Kevin Wolever was indicted on two counts of improperly discharging a firearm into a habitation and one count of aggravated arson and assault.

The son of former Toledo fire chief Mike Wolever was put on administrative leave after reportedly sleeping on the job and telling fire department administrators he skipped a fire inspection to visit a strip club, according to records obtained by The Blade.

Wolever was also charged Monday with leaving an incendiary device outside of Station 18 on Lewis Avenue on Sept. 22.

If convicted, Wolever faces up to 48 years in prison. According to published reports, he is currently in custody at the Lucas County Jail held on a $300,000 bond.
