TOLEDO -- The fall's beer flavors debuted at the Maumee Bay Brewing Company on Thursday, with a variety of tasty favorites reappearing and a few new brews. The Oktoberfest boasts a malty backbone with flavors of toasted bread and caramel, creating an even balance of hop bitterness.
One new brew, The Fire Roasted White Pumpkin Ale, is made with local pumpkins cut up and topped with brown sugar. The pumpkins are then cooked in a brick oven then put into the mix to make the final product.
