TOLEDO -- Late Friday night an agreement was reached between the American Red Cross Western Lake Erie Region and UFCW Local 75.  The agreement  cancels a strike that had been threatened by UFCW Local 75 who represent about 184 workers in the Red Cross's Blood Collection Division in Toledo. The agreement allows for the blood drive scheduled at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Monroe on Sunday to proceed as scheduled and for all blood drives that are scheduled for Monday, September 12.
