MONROE -- A Monroe County judge has decided three of the four pit bulls seized during a dog fighting ring bust should be euthanized.

He ruled Wednesday that the dogs pose a threat and lack a useful purpose.

This is the latest decision in a legal saga that began shortly after the raid in March.

A group looking to save the dogs has 21 days to appeal the ruling.
