Police in Morenci, MI may have a few fresh clues into the disappearance of three missing Morenci boys. WNWO found out last week that they would be getting some help from a Shiawasee county search and rescue team, doing some training. Morenci Police Chief Larry Weeks told WNWO, that the team wanted to help and train at the same time.

Turns out that the the team may have found a few new clues on Saturday morning. You may remember that Alexander, Andrew, and Tanner Skelton have been missing since Thanksgiving.

Michigan State Trooper Andrew Coohon said that items were found during the sweep, by the search and rescue team. However, Coohon cautions, it is to early to tell if they are related to the case. The items will be tested in Lansing for DNA.

The Boy's father, John Skelton maintains that the boys are alive and are being held by a sanctuary group.
