ADRIAN, MI -- There's been yet another drowning in the area. An Adrian woman drowned Sunday in a swimming pool at a mobile home park's pool located at West Beecher Road in Adrian.
Police say 34 year old Odette Thompson was in the pool with friends when she suddenly went under water and didn't resurface. She was pulled out but attempts to revive her were unsuccessful.
There have been at least 5 drownings in Southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio over the past week.
