MONROE, MI -- When Monroe Public School students return to class this September, they will see some major technology improvements.

The school board recently approved the purchase of nearly $1 million worth of computers and other classroom technology aids.

785 new computers will be purchased as well as computer desks, projectors, document camers and supplies.

Many of the old computers will be used elsewhere in the district, while others will be sold.
