COLUMBUS -- Ohio's unemployment rate has not risen in 15 months. But it did not go down last month.
The state registered 8.6% unemployment in May, unchanged from April. It's a pause after 14 straight months of falling unemployment, the longest streak of its kind since 1983 and '84.
The number is below the national average of 9.1%.
