2 Lenaweee Co. deputies injured in crash

CAMBRIDGE TWP., MI -- Two Lenawee County Sheriff's Deputies are recovering after they were involved in a crash Thursday night. It happened on M-50 just south of U.S. 12 in Cambridge Township.

Deputies Christopher VanDyke and Christopher Johnston both were on motorcycles and were attempting to make a turn when one motorcycle hit the other.

 Both deputies were transported to the University of Michigan Medical Center for treatment. VanDyke was released, while Johnston is being kept for observation.

The crash is being investigated by state police.
