Latest local news, weather and high school sports for Toledo area

BEDFORD, MI -- Welcome news for dozens of teachers laid off by the Bedford School District.  It is calling back 48 teachers from layoff status.

That impacts nearly half of the 103 teachers recently given pink slips.  But there's more good news.

Approximately 20 more teachers could be recalled by the end of next week.

That leaves about 35 teachers still on the chopping block.
