TOLEDO -- Falcons invaded the University of Toledo campus Thursday afternoon. But this had nothing to do with the heated I-75 rivalry between BG and UT.

A group of Peregrine falcon chicks each received bans around their ankles.  The bands are marked with unique numbers to help researchers from The Ohio Department of Natural Resources identify the birds.

Peregrine falcons had been extinct in Ohio but programs like this have resulted in these falcons being taken off the endangered list.
