Law enforcement kicks off OVI blitz

The Ohio State Highway Patrol kicked off “Circle Toledo” 2011 OVI – Operating Vehicle Impaired - enforcement.

Thirty police agencies from Wood, Lucas, Fulton and Monroe (Michigan) Counties will be participating in effort to crack down on impaired drivers. The OVI Blitz kicked off at 6pm and will continue until 6am Saturday, May 7th.

Ohio Highway Patrol says they main goal of Circle Toledo is to increase public awareness of the dangers of driving impaired.
