CINCINNATI (AP) - A judge in Cincinnati has found an Ohio couple guilty of murder in their baby's starvation.

Judge Nadine Allen found 30-year-old Gary West and 28-year-old Jill Hull guilty of murder Friday in the starvation of 10-week-old Rachel West. A coroner said the baby died of extreme malnutrition due to neglect.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports the baby weighed 5 pounds, 13 ounces when she died Nov. 26, 2008. That was four ounces less than her birth weight and about half the average weight of a 10-week-old baby.

Authorities say five cans of baby formula were in the home when the baby died.

A murder conviction carries a sentence of 15 years to life in prison. The judge set sentencing for June 1.
