FLINT, MI -- Mental health issues are still not resolved in the case of the serial stabbing suspect.

An independent exam of Elias Abuelazam has not yet been completed. The prosecution has completed its report but it is sealed.

The issue is whether mental health experts believe Abuelazam understood what he was doing last summer or was insane.

He's charged with three murders and several attempted murders in Flint, Toledo and Virginia.
