DAYTON -- Dayton police have busted the baby stroller bandits.

Cops say Charmaine Wright and Ashanti Evans would take a stroller into a store and it looked like there was a baby inside, but there was not.  It was actually a bag wrapped in aluminum foil.

Police say the pair would put merchandise inside to beat metal detectors.

The women were arrested last week and may be responsible for other crimes in Southwest Ohio.

What do you think was going through their heads when they walked into a store with a bogus baby in a stroller?  Post your comments below.
