SWANTON, OH -- Honor Flight took off Wednesday morning for its first trip in 2011 and what organizers are calling its most ambitious mission to date.

Thanks to a large donation from The Northcoast Jobs Connection, Honor Flight Wednesday was able to take 80 veterans to our Nation's Capitol to see the memorials in their honor.

Honor Flight has flown 18 missions since it was established in 2008, safely escorting nearly 460 veterans to D.C.
