TOLEDO, OH -- This week's Fugitive of the Week is wanted for peddling flesh in Northwest Ohio.
Experts in the field of human slavery and prostitution have noted that Toledo is at the epicenter of this criminal activity in the United States. Many young girls are recruited or even kidnapped from the area and forced into a life of prostitution.
Starting in April 2009, Kevin Martin is accused of recruiting young girls and transporting them to migrant labor camps in Fulton and Lucas counties where he forced them to work as prostitutes. Most of his partners in crime have been caught. But Martin remains at large.
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is eager to put this guy behind bars. Task force members are confident Kevin Martin is still in the Northwest Ohio area.
