HOLLYWOOD, CALIF. -- Move over Katie Holmes, life is looking wonderful for another Toledo-native making it big in Hollywood.

Several sources, including People Magazine, have reported that Whitmer High School graduate Adrianne Palicki will take the title role in the upcoming NBC series pilot "Wonder Woman."

The actress, 27, is best known for her role as Tyra on Friday Night Lights.

"Wonder Woman" is being brought to the small screen by David E. Kelley, of "Ally McBeal"  and "Boston Legal" fame.

According to the website, imdb.com, Palicki's parents still reside in West Toledo, where the actress grew up and attending Whitmer.

Palicki is slated to star in the new series' pilot this Fall on WNWO.
