TOLEDO, OH -- The City of Toledo-owned The Docks property could soon be sold to a group of investors based in China.

Toledo Mayor Mike Bell will present a proposal to Toledo City Council on Tuesday. The proposal details an offer made by China-based Dashing Pacific Group who is offering $2.15 million dollars for the riverside property.

City administrators established a relationship with the investors on a trip to China last September.

In early January, the future of The Docks was unclear after a few restaurants closed their doors --owing back rent.

Mayor Bell will reveal more about this possible sale in a planned briefing Tuesday morning.  A representative from Dashing Pacific Group will also be on-hand at the briefing.
