Monroe medical marijuana moratorium

MONROE, MICH. -- You won't be able to buy medical marijuana in Monroe for at least another 6 months.

The city council has put a 180 day moratorium on the sale and dispensing of medical marijuana.

Monroe leaders say they need more time to put together a city ordinance regulating Michigan's Medical Marijuana Act which passed in November 2008.
