Alumni of Libbey High School are renewing their efforts tonight to keep their alma mater from the wrecking ball.
Toledo Public Schools had voted to close the home of the Cowboys in order to make a dent in a multi-million dollar deficit.
The building has stood for nearly 90-years in the old South end.
Now, school leaders say there isn't enough money to maintain the building slating it for demolition.
There will be a meeting at the South Branch Library at 6:30 Monday, where the public can discuss ideas on how to preserve the building.
