ADRIAN, Mich. (AP) - A candlelight vigil is planned in Adrian for three young Michigan brothers who were last seen on Thanksgiving in the care of their now-jailed father.

The mother of 9-year-old Andrew, 7-year-old Alexander and 5-year-old Tanner Skelton says she still believes they're alive and says she's has presents for them under the Christmas tree.

John Skelton is in the Lenawee County jail on parental kidnapping charges. Police say he's made false claims about turning his sons over to another woman.

The vigil is at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Trestle Park band shell.

Tanya Skelton of Morenci tells The Daily Telegram and The Toledo Blade she wants her sons home for Christmas and says there are gifts awaiting them.
