TOLEDO -- Honor Flight Northwest Ohio is going to be soaring to new heights in 2011.

The group which takes veterans to see the war memorials in Washington, D.C. is going to be using a larger aircraft for next year's five missions.

Since it began in 2008, Honor Flight chartered 50 seat planes per flight. But starting next year, Honor Flight will begin using the A-320 Airbus that can seat up 160 passengers.

The larger jet will enable approximately 80 veterans to experience "the trip of a lifetime."

Holiday donations can be made to Honor Flight Northwest Ohio, P.O. Box 23018, Toledo, Ohio, 43623.
