TOLEDO -- It will be another day before we learn the outcome of a Lucas County Board of Elections recount.
Election officials began recounting ballots Tuesday in the County Commission race between Carol Contrada and George Sarantou. Contrada was declared the winner after provisional ballots put her ahead of Sarantou.
They are also counting the ballots in the Springfield Schools levy race. The levy was down after election night but eventually passed when the provisional ballots were counted.
NBC 24 will let you know on-air and on-line when the ballot recount is complete and who the official winner is.
