A new study on the sexual behavior of teenagers finds girls are more likely to have unprotected sexual experiences than boys.  This is despite the fact that boys are more sexually active than girls.

Researchers also found young people are waiting longer to have their first sexual encounter, but the average age that people contract an STD is getting younger.

It appears sex-ed is the key.  The study found the younger a child learns about the birds and the bees, the less likely they are to have unprotected sex.
