CLEVELAND (AP) - An Ohio college student who pleaded guilty to hacking into conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly's website has been sentenced to 30 months in prison and must pay the site $40,000.

The U.S. attorney's office in Cleveland said Tuesday that 23-year-old Mitchell Frost of Bellevue was sentenced last week. Frost had pleaded guilty to causing damage to a protected computer system and possessing unauthorized access devices.

Authorities say Frost used the University of Akron's computer network to hack into other networks in 2006 and 2007. Frost admitted shutting down various sites, including the O'Reilly site, an Ann Coulter site and a Rudy Giuliani presidential campaign site.

Frost also was sentenced to three years of supervised release and to pay $10,000 to the university.
