PERRYSBURG, OHIO -- Perrysburg Police say a family member of a popular area radio host is to blame for a break-in at a former Levis Commons restaurant.

Paul E. Zepeda, 53, of Maumee has been charged with complicity to breaking and entering and complicity to theft after allegedly attempted to rob his nephew's former Levis Commons restaurant, Andrew Z's Sportz Pizzeria, on Oct. 15.  The restaurant is owned by 92.5 KISS-FM DJ Andrew Zepeda of Andrew Z in the Morning.

Police say Paul Zepeda, along with David R. Wright, 43, of Maumee, broke into the closed restaurant and entered a safe inside.  Wright has been charged with breaking and entering.

The pizza restaurant and bar was closed by a landlord on Sept. 30 after allegations that the radio host and owner was late with rent.  At the time of the break-in, the property belonged to management of Levis Commons.

Police have not said how much, if anything, was stolen as a result of the break-in.

Paul Zepeda is free on $5,000 bond, while Wright has been released from custody on his own recognizance.
